    • www.bluedreamstudios.com - Developed entire website using Flash and ActionScript. Co-designed the site with the client, an illustrator/animator. Developed many HTML gallery pages using Homesite and Dreamweaver.
    • www.interosa.com - Revamped existing website for a small email privacy company using Dreamweaver and hand-coded HTML. Work included: re-writing copy, restructuring navigation, adding JavaScript form validation, modifying PERL scripts.
    • www.trainright.com - Provided extensive code-level HTML for this athletic- coaching site, as well as graphics editing for the site's online storefront.
    • www.georgianascott.com - Designed and developed simple informational site for a law firm. Included extensive search engine registration.

    Interaction Designer

    Designed all aspects of user-interaction for enterprise security management products in C++/Windows and Java environments. Provided user interface design support (storyboards, layout alternatives, user task scenarios) for three product teams. Developed GUI standards for a cross-platform product suite. Conducted customer visits to research and define requirements.
    Assisted engineering manager with coordination of product deliverables and product scoping. Participated in marketing activities including scripting of web-based (Flash) product demos and design of e-commerce site for product purchase.

Provided detailed user-profiles and workflow analysis of a variety of vertical markets. Environments included: web-based front-ends, a Java viewer, and plug-ins for Outlook and other email clients.

    Human Factors Engineer

    Provided human factors consulting throughout the product development cycle to international teams developing enterprise (ERP) software. Responsibilities included: leading development teams in customer visits for business-process analysis, facilitating design sessions, and conducting usability tests and reviews with international customers in both English and German.
    As a member of a centralized usability engineering team, helped define and implement SAP's customer visit process and led the first international visits. Developed and presented training in contextual inquiry (task analysis), paper prototyping and usability testing. Developed several corporate user-interface standards. Participated in re-design and testing of massive intranet website.

    Performed usability activities for teams designing test and measurement products for hardware/software engineers. Duties included: user profiles, task analysis, conceptual design, rapid prototyping, detailed interaction design, heuristic evaluation and usability testing. Acted as internal consultant on user-interface designs in MS-Windows, UNIX X-Windows and touch-screen platforms.
    Lead cross-functional effort to reduce Time to First Success for customers through simplified packaging, faster installation and setup, and improved "Getting Started" documentation. Helped define and implement a user-centered design process.

    Performed numerous usability tests on test and measurement products, including the first usability tests at this division of HP. Worked with product development teams to resolve ease-of-use problems. As information design team-lead, created a new documentation strategy for a large, modular logic-analysis system, greatly increasing documentation usability and saving thousands in production costs. Designed and implemented an online help system in the UNIX X-Windows environment. Created many publications, including training kits, graphical installation guides and user's guides.

    Provided technical support and troubleshooting for users of test and measurement equipment. Assisted customers and sales force with technical issues regarding microprocessor probes and logic analyzers.
